Wooden 'Egg Hunt' Matching Game

A set of 20 wooden discs made from smooth beech wood and engraved with egg patterns. With 10 different designs, each set contains pairs of each pattern to create a fun Easter inspired matching game.

Images are engraved on one side so they can be placed face down to play pairs, or for younger learners - they can be placed face up to match the pairs this way.

Not only can they be used as a matching pairs game, they can also be hidden to create a unique Easter egg hunt. Aid in hand-eye co-ordination when used for stacking into a tower and can be used to create paper rubbings as the images are deeply engraved.

Each wooden disc measures 5cm in diameter and approximately 0.5cm in thickness making them ideal for little hands. 

Each set comes in its own natural cotton drawstring bag.

Patterns include; grid, stripes, polka dots, stars, zig zag, hearts, plain, wavy lines and vines. 

The engraving colour may vary from disc to disc due to the colour of the natural wood grain and some images may appear lighter or darker than one another.

Safety

Our alpha dots are 5cm in diameter so should not pose a choking hazard, however we do recommend adult supervision when children who are still placing objects in their mouths are using them. Age recommendation 3+.
